Dresden sits two hours from Berlin and two hours from Prague, which makes it the natural meeting point for companies that work on both sides of the border. Dresden event photography prices
One fixed, all-in price per event — not an hourly rate with extras bolted on afterwards. The same rate card applies in Dresden as in Berlin and Munich; only travel differs, and it is billed at cost.

All figures are net starting prices for a fixed, all-in quote and include the shoot, the edit, a private online gallery and usage for your own marketing, press, recruiting and internal channels. Any applicable VAT is shown on the invoice. Travel outside the city is billed at cost, never marked up.
Why Dresden is often the cheaper option: for a company with offices in Berlin and in Bohemia, an event in Dresden means no long travel supplement in either direction and a single photographer covering both audiences. Where the venue is a genuine choice, it is worth asking what it does to the total.

Dresden venues and what each one demands
- ICD — Internationales Congress Center Dresden — glass, river light and a large plenary with heavy stage wash. Daylight in the foyers changes by stops across the day; the hall does not.
- MESSE DRESDEN — former slaughterhouse halls, high metal-halide fixtures, deep shadow under stand ceilings. Per-scene white balance, never one setting for the whole day.
- Kulturpalast — a concert hall with steep sightlines and one clean wide position. Silent shooting is not optional here; the room is built to carry sound.
- Taschenbergpalais and Hotel Bellevue — warm, low ballroom light that a flash would destroy. Shot available-light wherever the ISO allows.
- Schloss Albrechtsberg and the Zwinger — prestige settings with house rules on tripods and additional lighting, and often a permit for commercial work. Cleared before the date, not on it.
- Kraftwerk Mitte and Zeitenströmung — industrial volumes with almost no ambient light, chosen precisely for the scale a wide frame can show.
- Deutsches Hygiene-Museum — a favourite for congress evenings; bright modernist rooms in daylight, difficult once it is dark outside.
Cross-border events
A large share of Dresden bookings are cross-border: a German company hosting Czech partners, or a Czech company presenting in Saxony. Practically, that means two things. Briefings, on-the-day coordination with venue and AV staff, and image captions are handled in German or English. And where the programme continues on the other side of the border — a factory visit in Ústí, a dinner in Bad Schandau — it is covered as one booking rather than two, with travel between the sites billed at cost.
